I decided that this is kinda a difficult one. It is hard to just go up and take a picture of someone. Of course, my little Canon Elph doesn't take pictures at a distance. When you ask or tell them that you are taking a picture, first they are paranoid and then they pose. I don't really like posed photos, but this one turned out good. I really don't even know her name, so I can't even tell you that much about her. But she was a good sport. (oh yeah, and the fact that I usually take 80 or so pictures, to get the one I want. This time I only had one semi-clear one.)

I'm impressed. I tried taking pics of people doing interesting stuff on the street as we drove to the grocery store, but that didn't work out too well. I'll definitely have to get better equipment before becoming a private eye.
What a good sport. I have to say, if someone came up and asked me if they could take a picture, I'd probalby think they were nuts and walk away. lol. It did turn out really good though.
She looks really natural. And I admire the close-up composition. It can be relatively easy to use long lens and take a snap of those who are unaware. This approach needs much more bravery. I can't recall a time when I'd ask a stranger if I can take a picture. That will be a challenge....
