I like the tranquility of the cemetery. What are the top two pictures telling? Forgive the ignorant, I'm not familiar with your local memorials, if it is such a thing...
nice catch up, I just have to use older photos I have taken in the past because there isn't much to photograph in Grantsville... expecially like your photos and the details, they look great!
The top two pictures were taken in Pennsylvania at the Flight 93 crash site. Back on September 11, 2001 there was a terrorist attack on US soil and two hijacked planes hit the Twin towers and one hit the Pentagon killing thousands. Along with that - a fourth plane was taken down in a field in Pennsylvania. It was headed to another major government building - but some heros on the plane tried to take back control of the plane from the hijackers. This is where it crashed. And the temporary memorial that is there.

It was just something that meant a lot to me. The second picture was obviously taken from a long ways away. But it was neat be be able to go there and see the site.
JaKell - yeah I try to take current pictures - but in order to get caught up and not get too overwhelmed I had to use some pictures we took in Pennsylvania over the summer.
I am sure there is plenty to photograph in Grantsville. :)
I haven't commented before on this page, but I want you to know that I look at it every day! I love seeing what you've come up with. I've been debating about doing one on my own, but I don't think I could do as good of a job as I want to! And I really don't know anything about photography...but I want to!
So maybe one day I will jump in! Keep up the good work!
You should try it out Jenny! It's a lot of fun! And believe me, you can take as good of/or better pictures than me! :) I am still learning and have a LONG way to go! :) But it is fun to look at the world in a little bit of a different way! (And believe me, mine are not as good as I want them to be, but someday I hope to get there!!)
Thanks for looking! Feel free to join in at anytime!
